First and foremost, I am a personal trainer who is dedicated to helping women become empowered to own their health and improve their lives. I know that menopause is a natural part of life that no longer comes naturally to many of us. And I know that balanced hormones can help to alleviate many of the problems menopausal women experience, such as night sweats, hot flashes and anxiety.

To gain greater insight into how to help myself and my clients, I took classes on hormones at Normandale College. What’s more, I personally trained with Dr. Sara Gottfried to complete her Hormone Cure program.  And I have continually updated my Knowledge with classes taught by Dr. Jade Teta

How can you balance my hormones? You aren’t a doctor!
Here’s the thing – you don’t need a doctor to help you identify the things plaguing your life right now. If you have no sex drive, there’s likely a hormonal reason to that. The same is true if you always feel extreme stress or anxiety, or are quick to anger. And hot flashes are not normal. With my special training, I know which hormones cause these common issues and ailments, and I know which foods and supplements to target to improve your situation. Why does this program last 16 weeks?
It takes anywhere from 12 to 15 weeks for you to make a permanent change in life. So if we spend fewer than 12 weeks together, you risk investing time and money without having the dedicated support you need to make a lifestyle change. On the flip side of that, 16 weeks is just right to get you where you need to be so you can move forward on your own. I will provide you with the information, tools and resources you need to make sure you stay on track.

We will start with the 4 corners of the Menopuzzle, Stress, Sleep, Exercise and Food.

4 Surprisingly short workouts every week designed to re-calibrate your hormones from fat storage mode to fat melting mode.  All workouts are only 30 minutes to limit cortisol production while raising the fat melting “soup” of testosterone and human growth hormone.

Through a series of questionnaires and measurements we will also figure out your ideal nutrition base point and provide weekly discussions on how to manipulate your nutrition in order to find YOUR Customized DIET!

Sleep habits will be an integral part of the program.

And Stress reduction, certainly a huge component of the puzzle.  While it is a major player, I have found women usually like to DO something first and then we circle back to this piece.
